{ "description": "<p>Small construction contractors are vital for provision of infrastructures in Addis Ababa.<br>\nThe study is inspired by common low growth or business failures witnessed among this<br>\nclass of business. The main objective of the study is to examine growth challenges facing<br>\nsmall construction contractors in Addis Ababa. Data were collected from both primary<br>\nand secondary sources. The main instrument of data collection was the questionnaire and<br>\nsupported by interview. Questionnaires were dispatched to random samples of small<br>\nconstruction contractors in Addis Ababa. Accordingly, 120 completed questionnaires<br>\nwere returned. Data was then analyzed by using descriptive statistics and factor analysis.<br>\nThe result revealed that small construction contractors have relatively heavy proportion<br>\nand participation in basic infrastructure development which are essential for economic<br>\ngrowth of the city.
