"abstract": "
This thesis presents Overhead Contact Line System design for Indode station. Overhead Contact
\nSystem (OCS) is an essential interface between fixed installation and moving energy consumer
\nfor electric railway. Its design depends on mechanical, electrical and environmental loads.
\nTherefore proper design and standard of overhead contact line system for a particular
\nenvironment according to specific service requirement is necessary. In this work detailed
\ntechnical design of overhead contact system for Indode station as reference to review other
\noverhead contact line system design in Ethiopia Railway is done.
\nIn this thesis first overhead contact system for electrified root is modeled based on bottom to top
\napproach. Trolley and simple catenary of both semi and auto compensated Overhead Contact
\nSystem is modeled.
",
