    <dct:description>&lt;p&gt;The main objective of this study is to identify and analyze the major factor that affects the performance women entrepreneur in micro and small enterprises in Fitche town. It also addressed the demographic characteristics of women entrepreneurs in MSEs. The study was used quantitative research methods (approaches). The study was applied proportionate stratified sampling in five sectors that women owned MSEs are engaged to take as strata so as to give equal chance to each of the five sectors and two sectors was purposely selected, because their population were small in number. In order to give answer for the basic questions, a questionnaire that include demographic profiles of women entrepreneurs and factors that affect the performance of women entrepreneurs in MSEs were designed in Likert scales. For achieving the objectives of this study, 299 questionnaires were distributed and 288 of them were successfully fulfilled. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23 was the method used for data analysis. After the data has been collected, it was analyzed using simple statistical techniques (tables and percentages) and descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviations). It can be concluded from the descriptive analysis that, all the variables of the study economic factors (lack of financial access, lack of business training, lack of raw materials, absence of own premises (land) and lack of access technology), socio-cultural factors (work family conflict or gender roles, saving culture and living condition and entrepreneurial factors (lack of financial management ,innovativeness and lack of marketing skills have positive significant effect on the performance of women entrepreneurs in MSEs in Fitche town The findings of the study imply that from socio- cultural factors(cultural influence has negative significance effect on women owned MSEs.. The study also recommends that the concerned bodies should find ways to strengthen the social situations of the women entrepreneurs in MSEs.&lt;/p&gt;</dct:description>
