    <dct:description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Project identification and selection practices are one of the contributing components to the project sustainability&lt;/em&gt;&lt;em&gt;. Therefore, this study is aimed to assess &lt;/em&gt;&lt;em&gt;one wash project identification and selection practice at the selected project site in North Shewa Zone, Oromia National Regional State in Ethiopia&lt;/em&gt;&lt;em&gt;. To attain the objectives, 51 respondents were interviewed using closed questionnaires with five-point Likert scale options. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics like mean, standard deviation, frequency and percentage, and multiple linear regression models. Multiple linear regressions were used to identify &lt;/em&gt;&lt;em&gt;the factors affecting one wash project identification and selection practices. According to the descriptive analysis results majority of the respondents were agreed that conducting feasibility analysis, risk analysis, social analysis and technological analysis had great effect on one wash project identification and selection practices.&lt;/em&gt; &lt;em&gt;The result of correlation analysis showed that risk analysis,&amp;nbsp;feasibility&amp;nbsp;analysis, social&amp;nbsp;analysis, technology&amp;nbsp;analysis and political analysis were positively and significantly correlated with One Wash project identification and selection practices. Moreover, the results of multiple linear regressions indicated that there was statistically significant association between one wash project identification and selection practices and its covariates at 1% and 10% significance level. Accordingly, a unit increase in feasibility study; risk analysis, social analysis and technological analysis would result in 0.366, 0.012, 0.616 and 0.079 unit increases in one wash project identification and selection practices respectively. &amp;nbsp;Based on the result of this study, concerned bodies or offices at one wash program should give due emphasis on the improvement in feasibility analysis, risk analysis, social analysis and technological analysis so as to improve one wash project identification and selection practices at the study site. &lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</dct:description>
