"description": "<p><em>The main purpose of this study was to examine the factors that affect budget effectiveness in the North Shewa Zone public Financeoffice. The study wasusing explanatoryresearch design with a quantitative research approach. The respondents were chosen using purposive Survey technique from five Woredas. The survey questionnaire was distributed to 76 people, but only 71 of them responded, yielding a 93.42 percent response rate. The information was then quantitatively analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, multiple linear regression analysis. The SPSS version 26.0 was used to analyze the data using descriptive statistics, including computed mean, standard deviation and multiple Linear regression used to analyze inferential output. For this study, four independent variables are identify including budgeting planning, budget preparation, budget implementation,budget monitoring and evaluation. The dependent variable is budget effectiveness. </em></p>\n\n<p><em>The study concluded that, Budget planning, Budget preparation, Budget implementation and Budget monitoring and evaluation should be embraced since they demonstrated a significant positive relationship with the dependent variable. Furthermore, the study recommends, since the effective implementation of budget is not simple matter, it is advisable to exist clear and open budget transparency, communication among managers, workers and departments for better performance and to achieve the goal of the office. </em></p>",
