    <description descriptionType="Abstract">&lt;p&gt;Occupational health and safety issues are concerned with protecting employees and other people affected by what the company produces and does, against the hazards arising from their employment or their link as with the prevention of ill-health arising from working conditions. Construction sites are highly exposed to accidents lying face downward inclination areas because of the machinery and equipment they use in their daily operation, skills, training, Welfare facilities, use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and awareness of the employees about Occupational health and safety management practice in the area are the concern of the study. The purpose of the study was to identify over all occupational safety and health management practice in prospective of stakeholders the case of Bole Arebesa low cost housing in Addis Ababa. Studies in the area indicate that occupational health and safety management is weak in the construction workers due to lack of awareness about occupational health and safety management practice and related issues ,lack of training and education, skill of the workers, unsafe working environment, use of personnel protective safety material ,strict enforcement of policy and others. The researcher used survey and descriptive type of study method was used to conduct this research and stratified simple random samplings techniques was used. The study population comprises of employees, SME, Contractors ,management staffs and daily workers who engaged on Addis Ababa low housing construction at the Bole Arabesa construction site, the sample size of the study (85) which was determined by formula and the researcher collected data from respondents by using interview survey, questionnaire (both close-ended and few open ended) that was (90) questionnaires were distributed (70) were returned validly, own observation and focused group study method were used&lt;/p&gt;</description>
