"description": "<p>This study explores the impact of procurement practice on organizational performance at Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP). By evaluating key procurement practices such as planning, controlling, monitoring, workforce training, and inventory management, the research aims to determine how these practices influence EEP's operational efficiency and effectiveness, data were collected using a mixed method approach through questionnaires and interviews involving employees from various departments. Findings reveal that procurement practices are implemented to a limited extent, highlighting a weak relationship between these practices and organizational performance. Specific areas, particularly procurement planning and inventory management, require significant improvements. The study concludes that enhancing procurement practices can lead to cost reductions, improved service quality, and timely delivery, ultimately strengthening EEP’s performance. Recommendations for management include fostering better workforce training, establishing structured procurement controls, and leveraging technology to improve efficiency. Additionally, the study suggests that similar research be conducted in other organizations to derive broader insights into effective procurement strategies. The final aim is to contribute to the field of procurement and organizational performance, addressing existing gaps and promoting best practices for sustainable development in Ethiopia's energy sector.</p>",
