RIVER WATER QUALITY MODELING USING HEC-RAS: THE CASE STUDY OF JEMO RIVER,

The objective of this study was to develop water quality model for the Jemo River to assess and understand the present pollution states of it. A water quality model of the river was constructed using Geographic Information System (GIS) and Hydrologic Engineering Center River Analysis System (HEC-RAS) soft wares, and particularly HEC-RAS software used for water quality modeling to evaluate the amount, dissolved oxygen, nitrate, ammonium, carbonaceous biological oxygen demand, organophosphate and orthophosphate
