    <dct:description>&lt;p&gt;Only a small percentage of middle and mega projects achieve true success. Out of these projects only 35% achieve success ([2017] UKSC 59 Charrett, 86., 2017). Project cost management is one of the pillars that helps to achieve project success. This research analyzes the effect that project cost management has on the success of a project. It also investigated the moderating role of technology adoption on project cost management in helping a project achieve its objective. By technology adoption we mean the use of Microsoft Project for project cost management. The research used explanatory research design and both qualitative and quantitative research approach. Probability sampling is used to reduce the population to manageable and economically feasible sample size. The result from the research indicated that project cost management is responsible for 92.5% of project success while technology adoption moderates the relationship by 6%. The result showed that indeed project cost management has a positive effect and significantly affects the success of a project and project cost management is moderated by the adoption of technology. From this results its certain that project cost management is the major factor for project success. Using Microsoft project for Project Cost Management is also essential in enhancing project cost management which in turn increases the success of a project. The findings of this research has impact on future projects as project managers will focus on project cost management and integrating Microsoft project in their projects.&lt;/p&gt;</dct:description>
