    "description": "<p>In health sector, inventory is referred to as the stock of pharmaceutical products retained to meet future demand. Inventory represents the largest asset in pharmacy practice, and its value continues to rise because of the growth in variety and cost pharmaceutical products. From both financial and operational perspectives, efficient inventory management plays a great role in pharmacy practice. Ensuring medicines availability is an important goal for health system as medicines are an important building block in the health system. This study mainly aimed to examine determinant of pharmaceutical inventory management in Dire Dawa Administration public health facilities. An institutional based cross sectional descriptive and inferential statistics research design was used. The collected data were quantitatively analyzed using statistical methods, SPSS 26 version used. In order to summarise data and test the significance of the differences in respondents&#39; opinions, appropriate analytical techniques such as descriptive statistics (frequency counts, percentages, mean, and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Correlation, Regression, and T-test) analysis were used. . Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was performed to determine determinants of efficiency of inventory management system. Potential determinant factors were extracted using principal component analysis method based on Eigenvalues &gt; 1 rule and Varimax rotation technique was used for factor analysis. The results of the analysis show that dependent variable, Pharmaceutical Inventory management effectiveness, has a positive connection with the four (Workers skill, Management support, Documentation system, and procurement policy). In the research region, excellent pharmaceutical inventory management practice is highly related with documentation system.</p>",
