<dct:description><p>Since competition now exists between supply networks rather than organizations, effective management of the supply chain (SCM) has emerged as a potentially significant method of ensuring competitive advantage. This study aimed to investigate the effect of supply chain management practices on competitive advantage in the case of Heineken Beverage Company. There are five dimensions to supply chain management practices: strategic supplier partnerships, customer relationships, level of information sharing, quality of information sharing, and internal lean practices, which determine how these supply chain management practices affect competitive advantage in their five dimensions (cost, quality, delivery time, flexibility, and creativity commitment) at the Heineken beverage company. To accomplish the goals of this research, the study used both an explanatory and a descriptive research design. The primary data was collected from 124 employees of Heineken Beverage Company. Data was collected from primary sources through a questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlational analysis, and multiple regression analysis in the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) Version 25 data analysis. The study found that supply chain management practices, i.e., customer relations, level of information sharing, and lean practices, have a positive and significant effect on the competitive advantage of Heineken Beverage Company. In addition, the result shows that strategic supplier partnerships and the quality of information sharing have a positive but insignificant effect on the company. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the company enhance its supply chain management practices to further strengthen its competitive advantage, so Heineken beverage, in particular, has to increase its relationship with customers and set standards for reliability, responsiveness, and other standards. and needs to put more effort into enhancing its relationship with key suppliers by including key suppliers in planning and goal-setting activities, in new product development processes, in continuous improvement processes, and by supporting them to improve their product quality, as well as by exchanging information with trading partners that helps the establishment of business plans. The company, also, needs to improve to reduce setup time.</p></dct:description>
