    <dct:description>&lt;p&gt;Gender is a social model that changed through time and primary indicator of social and economic classification that resulted in exclusion from socio economic and political rights and represents relationship between men and women. Still regardless of determinations to implement gender policy there are long term gaps. The study focused on gender policy implementation related contexts in Dire Dawa Administration public organizations and workers at different leadership positions either politically nominated or professional experts against indicators manipulated in National Gender policy frame work contextualized to the study area. Qualitative case study research and descriptive method used to help assess and reveal status of policy implementation in terms of indicative processes of adapting, planning, communicating, fairness, empowerment, structure, leadership profession, capacity building and economic distribution, with in their targeted public organizations. The study considered COVID-19 precautions and worked out on 8 public organizations using in-depth one on one face to face interview on purposefully identified 16 key informants as primary sources to respond to interview secondary source was document analysis using developed Checklist and the study substantiated that gender policy implementation in Dire Dawa public organizations implementation experienced various challenges those needs reform in terms of Legitimacy, representing gender issue and raising voice to reach grass root ,strategic and inclusive planning, ,fairness ,capacity building, inclusive participation ,empowering women staffs, faire economic resource allocation, and its effective utilization and recommends operative reform on the above identified structural gaps and gender structure based monitoring and evaluation, participating and empowering women workers, assuring faire economic resource allocation, and its effective utilization ,strengthening fair Network by top leaders,creating strong external Collaboration.&lt;/p&gt;</dct:description>
