The system is designed to support inventory control,
\nand logistics management information system. The need for continuous improvement to fulfill evolving
\nneeds and the system’s ability to match the growth in increased commodity through puts will continue to
\nbe a challenge. In addition, data contained within eLMIS HCMIS is occasionally unreliable, inconsistent,
\nor incomplete; and data are not used routinely enough for decisionmaking. Last but not least, the system is
\nnot linked in real-time to the HCMIS Warehouse (Warehouse Management System at PFSA), so real-time
\ndata visibility at the facility level is still a challenge due to internet access and reliability. The purpose of
\nthis study is to assess effectiveness of the e-LMIS implementation to optimize pharmaceutical management
\npractices and enhance efficiency at hospitals and health centers under Addis Ababa Regional Health
\nBureau. Data was collected from sample of 39 users out of 49 mature e-LMIS HCMIS implementing public
\nhealth facilities in Addis Ababa
", "license": { "id": "cc-by" }, "title": "The Assessment of e-LMIS Implementation and User Satisfaction for Pharmaceutical Management in Public Health Facilities of the Addis Ababa Regional Health Bureau", "relations": { "version": [ { "count": 1, "index": 0, "parent": { "pid_type": "recid", "pid_value": "2026" }, "is_last": true, "last_child": { "pid_type": "recid", "pid_value": "2027" } } ] }, "communities": [ { "id": "aau" }, { "id": "zenodo" } ], "publication_date": "2018-09-01", "creators": [ { "name": "Sami Tewfik" } ], "access_right": "open", "resource_type": { "subtype": "thesis", "type": "publication", "title": "Thesis" }, "related_identifiers": [ { "scheme": "doi", "identifier": "10.20372/nadre:2026", "relation": "isVersionOf" } ] } }
