ABSTRACT: the purpose of the study that to investigate educational and psychosocial challenges of students with visual impairments in integrated schools at Limat primary school. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, basic research questions were raised. Qualitative design was used for this study. Purposive and availability sampling procedures were also used. Together required information from the participants about the research 4 regular and 2 SNE teachers , one school principal, 6 SWVI and 4 sighted students and 3 woreda Education experts were selected for interview and four SWVI and two sighted student in one group and five parent is the other group, were selected for FGD. The obtained data were analyzed. The method was used to collect the data was interview, FGD. The following major findings were obtained. Those are lack of Braille materials, no books which are written in Braille, lack of social interaction, feels sad, dependent and have a lot of anxieties or fears in moving long-distance and happy by getting an opportunity of education were the major problems and opportunities for the SWVI. Based on the findings obtained untrained special education teachers to train, the shortage of financial and material resources to improve, no cooperative SWVI and without VI to cooperate and inadequate library serves to serve some possible recommendations were suggested
