This thesis was aimed at studying the statistical and squeezing properties of two single mode and two-mode coherent, chaotic, and squeezed vacuum states with their superposed triple states. The method used in this study was the Q function distribution employing the anti-normally-ordered characteristic function; the researcher has determined the Q function for both two-single-mode and two-mode component states and the superposed triple states. The results of these studies were calculated by obtaining the Q function, the mean of the photon number, the normally ordered variance of the photon number, and the quadrature variance for two-mode component states and superposed triple states. Additionally, MAT LAB has been used for drawing the graph of the mean photon number, the variance of the photon number, the quadrature variance of the two-mode squeezed vacuum state, and su perposed triple states. The result of the study indicated that the mean photon number for the component states was the sum of the mean photon numbers of the two modes, and the mean photon number of the superposed triple state was considered the sum of the mean photon numbers of component states. The mean photon number for two-mode component states showed a greater value than the mean photon number of a single-mode separate state. On the other hand, the variance of the photon number for two-mode component states showed a greater value than the variance of the photon number for single-mode separate states. From the results of the study, it was considered that the quadrature variance of the triple state su perposed was equal to the total of the quadrature variances of the component states, and the variance of the photon number for the superposed two-mode triple state was greater than the variance of the photon number of single mode separate states. The researcher of this study recommended experimental research for further investigation, thereby the concerned body providing the necessary facility and equipment.
