&lt;p&gt;Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) are emerged to provide financial services to the poor that are self employed or working in small business as Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) and lackaccess to credit from banking sector for various reason. However, the credit service delivery of MFIs for the poor was challenged by increasing trends ofportfolio at risk associated with the poor loan repayment performance of MSEs.Cognizant to this, the study aimed to assess determinants of loan repayment performance of MSEs financed by Oromia Credit and Saving Share Company (OCSSCO) Nekemtebranch.The population of the study were 424 MSEs financed by OCSSCO from which sample of 212 MSEs were determined for primary data collection using structured questionnaires adopted from previous studies in areas of entrepreneurs factors, enterprise related factors, lenders related factors and external factors and analyzed by descriptiveand econometric models by using STATA version 14 package. Logit model is used to identify determinants of loan repayment performance of MSEs.The marital status, educational level, self selection, growth stages, record keeping, interest rate, repayment schedule, market condition and access to credit from other source variables significantly enhance the probability of loan repayment performance of MSEs whereas sex, firm size and internal rule variables were significantly reduces the probability of loan repayment performance of MSEs.Based on this finding, the researcher recommends on improvement of factors related to entrepreneurs, enterprise, lenders and external factors that affects loan repayment performance of MSEs in the study area.
