&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;ABSTRACT&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Systems with delays appear frequently in engineering; typical examples of time-delay systems are communication networks, chemical processes. The presence of delay makes systems analysis and control design much more complicated. In this thesis, the problem of stability analysis is investigated for linear continuous singular systems with state delays in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). Some improved delay conditions are presented to ensure the considered system to be regular, impulse free, stable and admissible via an augmented Lyapunov functional and integrals inequalities.&lt;/p&gt;
