    <dct:description>&lt;p&gt;Abstract&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Sinana is one of Bale zone districts which are particularly known for their extensive wheat production. Wheat is an important crop for its contribution as an income support and used for consumption to large proportion of the rural household. However enhancing wheat producer farmers to increase their production capacity are key challenge influencing wheat production is market destination.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;This study focuses on factors affecting wheat productivity in Bale zone Sinana woreda. Primary data collected from wheat farmers and Sinana woreda rural and agricultural Development office and Development Agent (DA) of the five Kebeles using structured questionnaires. Secondary data reviewed from different sources of the study area. Questionnaires administered to selected 137 wheat producers. Further, semi structured interview conducted with 5 Sinana woreda rural and agricultural Development office and Development Agent (DA) of the five Kebeles under study. On the part of the analysis, the collected data analyzed through descriptive by using percentage to opinion type of common wheat produced, common wheat market destination and the determinant of wheat productivity. Further, in this study, logistic regression used to investigate the determinant factor affects production of wheat in Sinana Woreda. The study indicated the performance of the agricultural sector in the study area is characterized by low productivity. The study found village market is the main common wheat market destination of the smallholder farmers. The results of the logistic regression model estimates indicates out of the 13 factors included, 5 variables were found to have a significant influence on the probability of being wheat productivity at less than 1 % probability level. These variables considered were age, education level, farmers&amp;rsquo; experience and own place of work. The remaining 8 explanatory variables were found to have no significant influence on the probability of being wheat productivity. On the other hand, the study found that dependent family size, access to market , non-farm activities, crop rotation practice, access to credit, access to market infrastructure, access to extension service and fertility status of the soil had no association with household income.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;1&lt;/p&gt;</dct:description>
