<description descriptionType="Abstract"><p>Tuberculosis (TB) is an illness that is caused by a bacterium known as Mycobacterium Tuberclosis and mainly affects the lungs, but sometimes can affect other parts of the body . An alarming epidemic is far-reaching across the developing world aggravated by coinfection with HIV. This study was based on a health retrospective analysis of TB, and TB/HIV coinfection cases and TB treatment outcome from outpatients at Batu Sher hospital and Health Center, Oromia Regional State, Southern Ethiopia from 2014 until 2019, a total of 808 TB cases were recorded over the study period: 51.36% males and most affected age group were 25-34 years. TB infection and TB/HIV co-infection had shown slight falls and rises over the study period and recorded cases in 2019 were higher or equal to that of 2014 that necessitate to much effort to reduce infection. The overall treatment success was found to be 74.4% for TB patients during treatment and 66.4% for TB/HIV co infection during treatment which was closer to target set by WHO (2015). ART coverage of the study was 52.57%, which is lower than 100% targeted by WHO, (2015). More attention should be given and appropriate measures should be taken to reduce the infection of TB and TB/HIV co-infection, to further improve treatment success and ART coverage.<br>
