  "description": "<p>The study aims to identify Determinants of Milk Productivity among Smallholder Dairy Farmers in the Jidda district of the North Shewa Zone in Oromia National Regional State. Milk have a High Contribution to the development of the country, so identifying the factors that are critical to determine milk productivity and identifying their impacts are important. To identify Determinants of Milk Productivity, the study used the multiple regression models &amp; Ordinary least square (OLS). The model used Stata version 17 was analyzed used frequency, percentage, mean, and chi square, OLS Regression Model. As the finding of the study: age has negative impact on milk productivity in the study area.in this study area the majority of respondents participated on milk productivity were old. The government should work on age, as youth participate on milk productivity. Sex and years of schooling have positive impact on milk productivity in the study area. The government should implement policies that promote gender equality and encourage both sex to participate in the dairy sector and implementing programs that focus on providing education and training to dairy farmers, especially those with limited formal education, to improve their knowledge and skills in milk production, management, and best practices. Cattle breed has positive impact on milk productivity in the study area. The government should establish breeding programs to improve the quality and quantity of the milk-producing breed, through selective breeding and genetic improvement. Feed type, access to clean water, labor involved have positive impacts on milk productivity in the study area. The government should Develop and provide incentives for farmers to adopt alternative feed sources, such as crops or by-products that are locally available and sustainable, Invest in infrastructure development to improve access to clean water for dairy farmers, Develop policies and programs to support dairy farmers in managing labor effectively, such as providing training on labor management and labor laws. Capital has negative impacts on milk production in the study area. The government should implement policies and programs to promote income-generating activities.</p>",
