    "description": "<p>Cloud computing involves virtualization, distributed computing, networking, software and<br>\nweb services. A cloud consists of several elements such as clients, datacenter and<br>\ndistributed servers. This research issues intending to study the establishment of an effective<br>\nand efficient load balancing algorithm. Load balancing is the process of distributing the<br>\nload among various nodes of a distributed system to improve both resource utilization and<br>\njob response time while avoiding a situation where some of the nodes are heavily loaded<br>\nwhile other nodes are idle or doing very little work. Load balancing is one of the main<br>\nchallenges in cloud computing which is required to distribute the workload evenly across<br>\nall the nodes. Load is a measure of the amount of work that a computation system performs<br>\nwhich can be classified as CPU load, network load, memory capacity and storage capacity.<br>\nIt helps to achieve a high user satisfaction and resource utilization ratio by ensuring an<br>\nefficient and fair allocation of every computing resource in cloud environment.<br>\nThe objective of the thesis is to propose efficient load balancing algorithm for efficient<br>\nutilization of resource in cloud computing environment and to compare the performance of<br>\nproposed algorithms with well-known load balancing algorithms. The newly proposed<br>\nalgorithm consider size of cloudlet, expected completion time of tasks by virtual machine<br>\nand runtime properties virtual machines to map&rsquo;s the incoming request to virtual machine<br>\nin impartially and efficiently. Proposing a virtual machine load balancing algorithm that<br>\naims to improve the average response time and average processing time of the system in<br>\nthe cloud environment.<br>\nThe experiments is carried out using CloudAnalyst simulator to analyze the performance<br>\nof proposed algorithm with Round-robin, Throttled and Ant-colony optimization load<br>\nbalancing algorithms and the result show the proposed algorithm have optimized response<br>\ntime and datacenter processing time.<br>\n&nbsp;</p>",
