  "description": "<p>In this study, the free and forced vibration analysis of fiber reinforced plastic (FRP)<br>\ncomposite beam using numerical method (finite element analysis) and mathematical<br>\nmodeling using MATLAB are conducted. Mechanical and physical properties of FRP<br>\nare found using strength of material and semiempirical approach to get the equivalent<br>\nof those properties. The beam is configured as cantilever with dimensions of<br>\n191&times;33&times;5.66 mm3 for all analyses of vibrations. For modal analysis of vibrations<br>\ndifferent effects such as fiber volume ratio, fiber materials, angle of orientation, and<br>\nstacking sequence of laminates are discussed. From these effects, stacking sequence of<br>\nlaminates is more effective in varying stiffness and natural frequencies with unique<br>\nfiber volume ratio and same fiber material. Comparison of numerical and analytical<br>\nsolutions of natural frequencies are most approached except in mode 2 or bending<br>\nmode in y axis. Forced vibration was carried out using the same configuration of beam<br>\nas modal analysis, but with different stacking sequence of layers with harmonically<br>\nexited loads. Results of resonance of vibration occur around the natural frequencies of<br>\ncomposite.<br>\n&nbsp;</p>",
