    <description descriptionType="Abstract">&lt;p&gt;Bottom ash is a byproduct from incinerated municipal solid waste (MSW) to produce electric&lt;br&gt;
power and reduced the volume of the solid waste damped in open land fill that is serious&lt;br&gt;
problem to the environment is used to produce bricks. Primary data was collected from Reppie&lt;br&gt;
waste to energy plant using a sack by going to the plant and secondary data sources&lt;br&gt;
from literatures review. The tastes that are take place during the research are include;&lt;br&gt;
chemical contents of the municipal solid waste incinerated bottom ash (MSWIBA) analysis,&lt;br&gt;
fineness of grinded bottom ash, Loss on ignition (LOI), consistency of blended mortar paste,&lt;br&gt;
setting time blended mortar paste, workability of fresh blended mortar, Compressive&lt;br&gt;
Strength of mortar and brick compressive strength and water absorption of cementitious&lt;br&gt;
brick block for the percentage replacement of 10 %, 15 %, 20 % and 25 % of bottom ash&lt;br&gt;
in weight. The chemical contents of sample are different than ordinary Portland cement because&lt;br&gt;
of organic contents of the bottom ash and the physical characteristics of the sample are not fall&lt;br&gt;
in the range of the ordinary Portland cement. The compressive strength of brick is attained clay&lt;br&gt;
brick standards and categories of classes A except 20% bottom ash replacement. In the research&lt;br&gt;
replacement of bottom ash is recommended in production of brick for construction and addition&lt;br&gt;
of gypsum for workability, setting time and fast strength gain is also recommended for blended&lt;br&gt;
